First of all I want to express my great appreciation for you stopping by my little piece of the World Wide Web, SSHiTech.com.

In this segment you will find out quite a bit about me, Curtis Freyermuth. I'm going to give you some details about my life from the past, present and what I hope to accomplish in the future. You should know whom you are doing business with, if you choose to do so, and this is the best way I know of without meeting you face to face. So let's get started............

Past

Right out of high school I worked for a civil engineering company as a draftsman and as a land surveyor. While working there I went to college part time in the evenings.

In the fall of 1990 I went to work in a paper mill. There we used 100 percent recycled paper to make tissue and napkins. Working shift work full time and being young I soon became bored with my job. I knew it was time to start my own business.

In mid 1995 I became a mobile tool distributor for one of the three major tool companies. I'm not at liberty to say which one, but I drove a big yellow and white truck. Even though you carry a major brand on your truck you are a completely independant business. I owned and operated my mobile tool business for nine and a half years.

After closing my mobile tool business I started my first web site where I sold automotive tools and equipment over the net. I hired my sister and together we ran the internet business for almost two years. Then Katrina struck. The economy went south once again, and I was tired. I closed the internet tool business and went to work with a friend helping him run his business.

Present - November, 2009

As you can tell from the photo on this site I am an American and I do support our troops. Notice I said TROOPS. I don't always agree with our President(s) or his decisions. I try not to be political on my site or in my newsletters. I can't help but be choked up when I see videos like this one from Anheuser-Bush http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IY9xjIHugo. Thank You To All The Troops! Without the men and women in uniform where would OUR freedoms be?

That brings us to today. At present I am 39 years old and single. I still help my friend with his business, D and R Car Care, see it here at http://www.DandRCarCare.com , and I also do Disaster Housing Inspections as an independant contractor under FEMA's Individuals and Households Program. Yep, I had to do the big background check and fingerprinting for Homeland Security for that job. I have also started writing a book. I can't mention what it's about just yet.

Now I'm kicking off my new web site here at SSHiTech.com where I have available to you Personal Safety and Surveillance Equipment. With todays world these items are becoming more and more of a necessity than a luxury.

Future

What are my plans for the future? SSHiTech.com is just the first of many sites I have planned to build. Among some other sites I have planned that sell products I also have a tutorial site planned.

I will also finish writing my book. I may even write another.

I'm going to lose about 30 pounds.

I would like to learn one or more foreign languages.

I would also like to learn to play a couple of instruments.

And I plan on seeing all of you right here for many years to come!
